Many of you may know me as Rosemarie DeMaio, owner, operator and CCCD (Chief Custom Cookie Designer) of Mama’s Custom Cookies. Turning cookies into art has been my passion since 2012 when a friend asked about creating “different” favors for an event she was hosting. We both agreed that custom cookies would be the perfect gift/favor. We envisioned the cookies being the final touch/design to complement the event. 

I quickly went to work to create the perfect cookie recipe that would marry the taste of the cookie with the sweetness of the icing and fondant used for the artwork. I wanted to make sure the cookies complemented the event and left a beautiful and delicious impression with the guests.  After that first event, I knew that this was meant for me. I was able to express my artistic side while bringing smiles to all of those that tasted my cookies.

Now, I have been told “I can’t eat your cookies because they are too beautiful” and I am so grateful for the compliment; but eating our cookies is part of the experience. So we ask you to admire our artwork but please allow our cookies to awaken your other senses - smell our cookies and allow them to bring you back to a beautiful childhood memory and eat the cookies so you can enjoy the full purpose of our art and let your tastebuds come alive.
